Any Trouble To Remove Virus?

Any Trouble To Remove Virus?

This conversion between my friend and me will HELP you to understand some important things here:

1) Protection is better than cure. Proper protection is important.

2) Antivirus and/or anti spyware software sometimes are not enough. Help from technician is required in some cases.

Question from Stephan:

"Hi Karl,

One of my PC has got infected with some Spyware. I'm using WinXP on it. Every time I clean it with my AVirus software, its again popping up on reboot.

I thought you are the right person to seek any help.
Any idea what should i do?

Rgds,

Stephen"

My Answer:

I suggest you uninstall what anti virus and anti spyware you have if any, then install these two: (only after uninstalling the ones you have)

Avast from http://www.avast.com (antivirus)
NoAdware from http://www.deletespyware-adware.com

The free version of Avast is enough, you do not necessary require their paid version. But NoAdware do not have a free version (just a free trial).

Those two have the important real time protection. Means they will block spyware, viruses etc before they have time to infect your pc. The other common antivirus software, (especially the free ones) can only remove infection after it has caused harm on the pc.

So then after installing both of them, scan with each one of them. Then remove any infections found and reboot. Since you are customer of noadware, then if still problem persists you can access their live chat for help.

Contact us if you are a customer for exclusive live chat help.

Do that first. Do not install multiple anti virus software or multiple anti spyware software, they will create problems with each other.

Then you can always use live chat.

And if your anti virus software is not free and you do not want to uninstall it, then check out what is the name of the spyware, virus you have. Then contact us, and tell us you are infected with so and so and ask for removal instructions. NoAdware technicians will help you. Just contact us with the name of the spyware, or ask for live chat help.

Some spyware, viruses etc require manual removal and that is probably the case with yours, if it keeps coming back again and again... that means the software is not removing it, it cannot be completely removed automatically.
