Wouldn't you like to simply prevent malicious components from ever adding themselves to your computer in the first place?
Simple! With the click of a button, you can safely block those annoying
yes/no boxes asking for your permission to install adware/spyware. If
you happen to attempt to install an item that exists on our block list,
the item will actually be prevented from being installed!
It is important to remove adware and spyware by using this tool once per month.

ActiveX components are used to add functionality, such as animation or
pop-up menus, to Web pages, desktop applications etc. However this
functionality comes with a risk, especially if the party running the
ActiveX control is untrusted.
Browser and PC Shields
You can configure various browser shields to further protect your
computer when online, including a real time shield, that will prevent
items we detect from ever running on your PC in the first place!
IE Hijack Shields
Many of the spyware programs can easily hijack your browser by
installing add-on programs to it. These malicious programs can cause
browser re-directs and unnecessary advertising pop-ups when you surf
the web. This option will prevent those unwanted hijacks.
Hosts File Shield
The Windows hosts file can be manipulated by spyware and virus programs
to redirect browsers to advertisers servers. Checking this option in
the Configure Shields menu will prevent this from happening.
Real Time Protection
Enabling this will turn on real time protection of your system. If any
item we detect is executed, our software will automatically block the
execution, and alert you of the item and it's attempt to install. You
will then be presented with an option to either allow or prevent the
installation.
Protect IE Favorites
Checking this box will enable NoAdware to prevent any tampering with
your IE favorites list. Nothing will be added to your favorites without
your approval.
In fact each time a bookmark is attempted, NoAdware will alert you and
ask for your authorization to add the specific URL to the browser
'Favorite List'. (See picture below)
This feature prevents addition of website links to your browser
favorites from unwanted or potentially offensive or dangerous websites!

Scan settings
Depending on how frequently you scan your system for adware and spyware
you can choose between a Smart Sytem Scan or a Full Sytem Scan. If
scanning of your PC has not been done for awhile - a Full Sytem Scan is
advisable.

Add a schedule
This is another useful and NEW feature that is built into the
NoAdwareapplication. With this you can schedule times when NoAdware
will automatically scan your computer for possible adware/spyware
infiltration. This protects you in the event that you forget to do so
manually.
