Some people don’t know what’s an anti adware and spyware software – in fact some call it antispyware.
So just like I mentioned numerous times on this blog an anti adware and spyware software does not remove viruses. For that you need an antivirus.
You see there are many different types of adware and spyware – actually the list of adware and spyware names is endless. Here’s a small list:

So there are two types or a better word is categories you have to protect your computer against – the adware and spyware AND the viruses.
So you need two separate software to get the job done well. Nowadays you may find 1 software that protects against anything and everything… it’s an anti adware and spyware software and a virus protection at the same time. I won’t recommend those software – its better to use two different because the company is specialized in one field (for example anti viruses) so it will provide a better service/product.
Someone who is doing everything is not specialized, he is trying to do it all but he cannot provide a good product as someone who is focused and specialized on one thing.
So remember this, there are two different security software you need, one for adware and spyware and one for viruses. You will now look superior amongst other people who don’t get this right.
