How To Use Ccleaner

This is a type of software known as a Registry Cleaner. There are many registry cleaner softwares, but this one even though FREE it’s one of the very best.

Here’s how to use this software to improve the speed and performance of your PC. That’s what a registry cleaner is used for. Ccleaner has lots of features, and I’m going to show you exactly with screenshots how to make use of this tool.

I recommend you use this tool once every 1-2 months. It’s simple to use it and it does its job fast as you shall see.

First double click CCleaner icon to open the software up.

If there’s a new version of the software you’ll see this message (arrow pointing to the message):

You should click Yes to go and download the latest version. Clicking Yes will take you to the website to download the latest version. You do not need to uninstall your current version. Just download new version, close the software and install it.

Then open again the software.

Please click on Options on the left side:

Then click on Settings. Then uncheck the first three boxes and make sure you put a check box next to: Automatically check for updates to ccleaner

That should look like this:

Then click on Ccleaner from the left side.

Click Analyze button. Let the software do its job. If you have your web browser like Internet Explorer open it may ask you to close it.

Once software is done you see something like this:

Then click on Run Cleaner button. Wait for software to do its job.

Then click on Applications which screenshot below shows you where:

Then click Analyze. Let software do its job and then click on Run Cleaner

Then click on Registry from the left side.

Then click on Scan for issues. Let software do its job then click on Fix selected issues. Software will ask you: Do you want to backup changes to your registry? as screenshot shows:

Click on Yes. Then click Save.

Click on Fix all selected issues button. It will ask Are you sure you want to fix all selected issues? Click OK. Then once software is done click Close button.

You’re done. You can now close the software.

So remember once every 1-2 months follow those steps.

This software should be used to keep your computer speed fast. Tell anyone you know who has a computer to follow these steps to improve the speed of his computer. This is maintenance to your computer, just like any other instrument, machine, etc needs maintenance.

It’s not the only thing you can do to improve your speed – but it’s one of the BEST things you can do.
