Do Flip Video Cams Record For More Than 60 Minutes

There are many types of Flip Videos, the one I have is Flip Video Ultra and it sucks in terms of how long you can capture a video. Why?

The batteries get consumed by the Flip Video very fast. I was amazed how fast the batteries have to be recharged again. Of course I can take more than 60 minutes video – but after like 90 minutes batteries will be almost empty.

I cannot tell you the exact time the batteries live. But I can tell you I did record for more than 60 minutes. This camcorder downside is the batteries absolutely. You have to recharge and recharge all the time, and if you’re recording and batteries get empty without you knowing why so fast – then you loose all recording you had started.

So recharge your batteries if you’re going to capture a video for longer than 60 minutes – make actually always sure they batteries are full power.

I got the Flip Video as a prize, I won it in a simple competition. It took me a long time to get it, because my country required payment details and all sort of verification, etc…

The camcorder is cool, quick and easy way to capture videos, then also send them to youtube, watch them on PC, on TV, capture photos from them – so even though I won’t of course recommend it if you go on travel to capture a video while on the bus – for some fun it’s great.

BTW on this blog I post not just what I think is fun – but what I absolutely know others want this type of information. I first research to find out what others want to know about – then give them just that.
