Adlogix Spyware

As you probably read in my other posts - manual removal instructions may be risky so I take no risks if you do not follow the instructions precisely and harm your computer. Take extra caution. Do a registry backup before manually deleting any files. Automatic removal instructions are below the manual instructions.


STEP ONE:

I tried to make the steps easy for you. I talk about deleting files and registry entries. If you cannot find a certain file - just skip it and move on...

Press these three buttons on your computer at the same time. CTRL, WINDOWS, DELETE (Windows button is the one that has the Microsoft Windows logo on it) Press them all together for multiple times and the Task Manager window will open.

Now click on the Processes tab. Find these in that long list.

adstartup.exe
adupdater.exe
guarnset.exe

Now click on the first one then click the END PROCESS button in the Task Manager window. Click on the second and do the same...


STEP TWO:

Refer to my other posts how to delete a registry key. Step-by-step instructions - making it very easy to understand it.

Then delete these registry keys:

STEP THREE

Delete the following files. Click Start, then click Search - search for files and folders. In the Look In: box select My Computer and then search for these files - one at a time.

Note that all computers have a Search Function - however not all access the function via the exact method I told you. You need to check the help files on your computer and see how to search for files. One possible way to open help file is to Close all opened windows and Press F1 on your computer.

Usually the files can be found in these folders:

C:\Windows\System
C:\Windows\System32 or
C:\Winnt\System32

To easily access those folders you can Click Start, then Click Run and type in one of those. Example type in: C:\Windows\System

AUTOMATIC method

If the automatic method does not work you have another method - the manual method. Use the automatic method first - it is obviously safer and easier.
