Free Spyware Scan Your Pc Will Run Faster
NoAdware Review
This is a long post but not junk; like some burgers. This took me all my life to create so bear with me as I share my experience.
I been using NoAdware for a very long time. I tested free software such as:
Spybot search & Destroy
Lavasoft
Ewido
NoD32
AVG
Bit Defneder
and list is long...
Free means crap. Even I can create a free software that everyone on the Internet will talk about. Freebies are spread faster than the speed of light. Maybe I exaggerated my point but you know what I mean.
To me free software are used by people that do not really care about their security. Or they are not well educated about the risks of free software. Probably the latter.
To begin with free software do not have the most important feature. They lack real time protection. If you are on a website that has a spyware - you will not be warned and it will not be blocked.
NoAdware, on the other hand has real time protection. It will block, warn you and delete the spyware before it has any chance in hell to damage your computer :) Can you see the difference?
Free software, all of them do not have real time protection. Apart from antivirus software called Avast. But that is another type of security software. NoAdware is an anti adware and spyware software.
NoAdware software never gave me any trouble. When there are new software or definitions updates it automatically downloads them. I can also select the option to manually download them.
It automatically starts when I turn ON the computer. It saves me time and makes sure I never forget to load it. That is important for me since I am on the Internet almost all the time.
NoAdware definitions are updated regularly, almost every day. That means you are protected against latest threats quickly.
Scanning is done with a click of a button. NoAdware is very easy to operate, a child can do it too. You can do everything with a click of a button.
The options menu allows you to configure some features such as:
1 Enabling automatic scanning on windows startup
2 Schedule scanning
3 Type of scan - deep or quick scan
and many more... However nothing is complicated, you do not have too many options that you need to study a book before using NoAdware. A kid can use NoAdware!! Does not mean it is not professional. NoAdware developers created the software with the KID in mind. We all know we humans are Lazy people - at least most of us :) NoAdware have also the KISS attitude - Keep It Simple Stupid!
The program works on all versions of windows, including windows vista.
Software does not alert you every time you do something. Norton software was boring, it used to alert me every time - for such things that are nonsense. It is not a software but SOMETHING that makes you feel you are in hell surrounded by beautiful blond girls (with their skin painted RED)
It does not happen with NoAdware. It is therefore both safe and user friendly. It does not crash my computer or corrupt my hardrive. If you want to uninstall it, NoAdware will be 100% removed. Unlike NOD32 that still today I cannot remove it.
When I right click on an icon, I still see the message: Scan with NOD32. Support did not even respond to my requests - however when I submitted a FAKE testimonial they quickly replied lol. NOD32 also got corrupted after few days. The settings never worked correctly. (My experience - does not mean you will experience same thing)
NoAdware is easily un installed and re installed. It does not require a ton of space to operate. Unlike other software it will not decrease your computer performance. Everything will run smoothly. I remember installing some programs that sort of absorb all my computer power. I could not do anything else with my computer. They did more harm then good.
NoAdware does not require a super, duper computer. With minimum requirements you will use the software very easily.
I used free software like Lavasoft or Spybot search and destroy. Both do nothing in real time. You just scan once a month or whenever you feel you need to. Sometimes you have to scan because you get infected. With these free software you will get infected almost guaranteed. They cannot warn you of any danger.
They do not block or delete the danger. What they do is TRY to remove the harmful spyware or whatever it may be - ONLY after it has ALREADY damaged your computer. (That is lame if you think about it) Removing it at that point, does not guarantee your computer is 100% healthy. That is why most people scan their computer again and again using 2, 3, or more software - trying to find one that removes the infection.
It is funny cause these software are just there on your hardrive - waiting for an infection to try and cure it. Usually it will be too late - the infection creates problems and scanning and removing it will be 10 times harder.
NoAdware automatically blocks infections - so they have no chance in damaging your computer. Obviously it won't happen all the time but 90% infections are blocked before they have a chance entering your machine from the Internet.
So now you can download NoAdware - for free. (free trial allows you to scan) Just scan and see how many infections you might already have.
Remember you do not need 3 software nor 4 - the number does not matter. The quality that matters. Multiple software create confusion between themselves. You risk deleting important backups. I mentioned why just ONE anti adware/spyware software you need in another post:

NoAdware like all other software is impossible to cure all infections. Support however will let you know how to cure certain types of infections. These cannot be removed automatically but manually.
There are thousands upon thousands of different types of infections. Plus new ones are created often - updates protect against the new ones. That is the aim of updating your software.

NoAdware has been download 43,706,715 As of 04:54AM EST, Aug 24, 2007. NoAdware product was launched on 2002. Downloads in 100 different countries. That is 43million dude. But probably you do not give a damn anyway.
Some time after the company launched NoAdware software - it recruited affiliates to promote their product. However affiliates wanted just money - they used misleading promotional methods and even dangerous methods like viruses to promote the software. This did more harm then good to the company. Therefore NoAdware for some time was labeled NOT SAFE.
The company then banned many of its affiliates. The ones that were damaging a great product. Soon afterwards NoAdware regained popularity and was labeled as SAFE. Affiliates created a lot of trouble to the company - but now the company re in forced their affiliate policy very strictly.
