This is going to be fast so Blink Your Eyes Now – Cause You Will Not Have Time To Do So Later.
You have hundreds of useless fonts on your machine. You do not need them all, removing them will improve your performance.
Click Start, then Settings
Select Control Panel
Double Click on Fonts icon.
Now delete all fonts apart the ones that you usually use.
As a rule of thumb – do not delete the most common fonts like:
Arial, Cosmic Sans, Copperplate Gothic, Courier, Elegant, Franklin Gothic, Microsoft Sans, Modern, Ms Sans Serif, Myriad Web Pro, Notepad, Rockwell, Roman, Script, Tahoma, Times New Roman, Verdana, Vivaldi.
Those are the ones I have left – rest I deleted all.
You can do the same but before deleting I suggest you backup fonts folder onto a floppy disk or CD – or xp users create a restore point in case anything goes wrong. Do not delete all fonts. Fonts are important for your computer – without them you want be able to read any word on your computer.
That was the quick tip.
