Heres How To Embed Google Adsense In Your Blogs Content

First of all you need to decide where you want to place the adsense. You can have up to 3 adsense ads showing at the same time.

Good positions are:

At the beginning and end of a post.
At the bottom or top of the blog
On the left side of your blog (if your menu is on the left side)

BEFORE you start - open a new notepad file, copy all the html code of your template and paste it inside the notepad file. Then save it - so you have a backup in case you do A MESS! :)

First I am gonna give the instructions to bloggers that are NOT using the NEW Blogger. Therefore they can login to their account, click on Template and they see that bunch of crap - sorry bunch of html code.

Second for the other bloggers that use the NEW blogger, with the LAYOUT style.

OLD BLOGGERS:

If you want to place your adsense ads at the beginning and end of a post; login to your adsense account and grab the ONE BLOCK SMALL AD - (just like mine)

Then in your template do a search (pressing CTRL key and F at same time) for:

/BlogItemTitle (note there is the < sign after BlogItemTitle - but I cannot place code inside the blog posts.)

Put the code exactly after that line - hit enter and copy and paste the code there.

Now find this line and post the same adsense code again but this time BEFORE the line.

p class="post-footer (note there is the < sign before p class - but I cannot place code inside the blog posts.)

So FAR you have have an adsense ad at the beginning and end of each post you make. If your blog home page lists 10 posts however, you will only have MAXIMUM of 3 adsense ads showing.

Note: You cannot have more than 3 google adsense ads showing - even though you put the code 10 or more times only 3 show. Also note that if you add the Google Search box, that is considered an ad as well - it counts as 1.

I have two ads and a google search box. Total 3.

To place the adsense ads at the bottom of the blog:

Find this line:

div id="footer">

Grab a long, horizontal google adsense ad from your account and paste the code exactly after that line.

To place adsense ad before your first post, so at the top of your blog - under the title FIND THIS LINE and place a long adsense ad (or short whatever you like) just after the line.

Hit enter and place the code after that line.

If you wanna place ads on your sidebar:

Suitable layouts are:

Button (125x125)
Skyscraper (120x600)
Wide Skyscraper (160 x 600)
Vertical Banner (120 x 240)
Small Rectangle (180x150)

FIND this line of code and place the code just after it:

iv id="sidebar2">

NOW obviously this will put the code exactly at the beginning of the sidebar. That is the best place. However if you have a search box on the sidebar and wish to place adsense ad just under neath it you can.

Simple find the search box in your template. Then put the code after the search box code ends. You do same thing if instead of a search box you have something else and want the adsense ad underneath it.

It is very easy for YOU to place adsense. Just add a new page element and select the AdSense option. Then drag the page element where you want the adsense to appear. Much easier! Switching to new blogger will make life easier. I cannot change just like many other people...
