If your computer is running slow, then NoAdware software may not help if the problem is not an adware, spyware or other critical object that is causing your problem. It may be a virus for instance.

So the root of a slow computer problem is not always solved by an anti spyware software. The anti spyware software is a must have still.

This is what I suggest if your computer is running slow:

First of all install an anti virus software: avast! 4 Home Edition FREE Download is recommended. (for windows based PC)

avast! for Linux Users.

Scan with that software, maybe the problem is a virus.

Next:

Install a registry cleaner. This cleans mess in your registry. No technical knowledge required, just download free registry cleaner. Then scan your PC with that tool too.

I said this a ton of times on this blog. You should have a firewall software, anti virus software and anti adware & spyware software.

All 3 must be running at the same time when you are online. The ones I recommend (you find in blog) all have real time protection, you see the icon near the clock, they do not bother you -- but do most important work of protection your computer.
