4.0 NoAdware Review (NoAdware 4 latest version)

NoAdware runs on Windows not Mac. Mac users cannot use NoAdware software at the time being. All versions of Windows can use the software. (Win 3_1x, Win95, Win98, WinME, WinNT 3_x, WinNT 4_x, WinXP, Windows2000, Windows2003, Windows CE)

Best use of the software.
1) Enable it to run at startup. It takes some 5 minutes so please be patient. Once it loads completely it won't disturb you anymore. You can enable it to run at startup from the Options then settings menu.
2) Switch off automatic updates. If you have a slow machine automatic updates can slow it even more and maybe crash your PC if you are working on something else.
Check for updates manually every 3-5 days. It takes a couple of minutes and is totally automatic. Right click on the NoAdware icon and select Open NoAdware. Then Click on Update Protection
3) Scan your PC (full scan) every month. If you visit porn sites or illegal sites, than you need to scan once every week. This takes time to finish, depending on the number of files you have on your PC. However it won't take all night long :)
4) Scan downloaded files. All of us download a music song, games, ebooks, software or anything else. These files that you download may contain adware or spyware.
Scanning them instantly after download will enable NoAdware to remove any spyware or adware before they can harm your PC.
To scan:
* Open NoAdware (right click on the icon) and select Open NoAdware
* Select Scan Files/Folders. Select Desktop (or the folder your new downloads were saved to) and hit OK.
As usual let NoAdware do the scanning. Be patient. The more files it has to scan the longer it takes.
